Week 5 reflection

Last week i have learnt how  to use meta-search engine and directory search. Even though i have never use it before, i try to find the advantages of the meta-search and directory search.

Meta-search engines content a lot of search engines. For example, Jux2, Ixquick,Mamma and so on. They are combine google,yahoo... The range of the search engines are more bride.

Directory search is subject catalogs such as Yahoo Directory and Galaxy.

All the thing we have learnt are very useful, but for me, I usually use the general website such as http://www.google.com/ or http://www.baidu.com/ . and i think they are very easy to use.

Shopping on Second Life

There are many differents between shopping on the second life and through internet.

The shopping centre is very big on the second life, and it is just very like the way we shopping in the true world. The products sold on the farrah island are clothes,and jewels.Since I donnot have money on second life ,so i just walk around and look the goods. And it is quiet diffent with the E_shopping Spree on the internet. Through the E_shopping Spree on teh internet, we can actually buy what we want and the company will send the goods for us after we pay. But on second life we cannot do this, on the oter hand, shopping on second life, I often meet some people and I can chat with them, and shopping on the general website, I just do shopping with myself.

Google's research

Last lesson I learned how to do effective internet research, and I was more or less impressed. It manage to shorten my searching time and also to spell words which otherwise I would not know how to spell, and i find that there is much enthusiasm in the discussion forum, it was really helpful for my research as they answered most of my queries ,I did not feel anxious as this was an online forum and I am more at ease online
 it shows that i have done my research well and also gives credit to the original authors

Crazy shopping

Christmas is coming,  are you  very boring to buy gifts in the normal shopping center?
