Last week, we do a group work on wiki. And I feel it is very important to do a group work because it can help us understand team spirit.
Whether in the workplace or on the football field, or even amongst members of a community, effective groupwork can produce incredible results. However, working successfully as a team or group is not as easy as it may seem. Effective teamwork certainly does not just happen automatically; it takes a great deal of hard work and compromise. There are a number of factors that must be in place to cohere together as a team and work seamlessly.
Good leadership,Clear communication,Conflict Resolution,Establishing roles and so on.
Effective leadership is one of the most important components of good teamwork. And my team’s leader possess the skills to create and maintain the positive working environment and motivate and inspire the team members to take a positive approach to work and be highly committed. An effective team leader will promote a high level of morale and make them feel supported and valued.
My team leader have leader our group very well, he can estable the roles for us, let the team member know what we are suppose to do, and when our opinions are confict, he can resolute it in the best way, and as a team member, I also feel I was a important partner because they let me know they need me!!!
The challenging for me is that I am not good at use computer and internet, and this is why i choose this EIR lesson, and i really feel confused many times, but now, i am improved ,even if i still feel i was not so familier with the compter and internet,but i am not afraid of using computer to do my homework at least.
And in the future,i will use wiki for research in my diploma,because wiki is clear state the details.
I can find the information I want easily.And thanks for the EIR lesson,I can overcome the difficults now.

My dream holiday
Today I have to get up early again cause my lesson will start at 8am, the earliest one of the whole weak. And on the lesson, I learnt Lecture 7, and do my practice 8&9. And i found some interesting place i want to visit in the future, and let me introduce them to you first.
America
1.(Times Square, New York City)
Times Square, the most bustling square of New York, is known for its many Broadway theatres, cinemas and super signs.It has all sorts of fun, exciting and informative tours to explore other parts of the city. You can Choose from walking, bike, bus, food, limo, TV, landmark, ethnic or water tours.
2.Universal Studios Orlando
Like its rival Disney, Universal houses what ERA’s Christian Aaen calls a “destination complex” in Orlando, where two theme parks, Universal Studios Orlando and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, vie for 6.2 million thrill-seeking tourists.
Singapore aslo have a Universal Studio in Sentosa,and it is the most recently one in the world,and for me ,i t is more convient to visit, but i would like to compare the two Universal Studios cause I am a girl who like to play.
3.Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Penn./N.J.
Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is a beautiful part of the Appalachian Mountains with all kinds of outdoors recreation available.
This park preserves 40 miles of the middle Delaware River and almost 70,000 acres of land along the river’s New Jersey and Pennsylvania shores.
River-focused recreation is what draws nearly five million tourists to this Appalachian-ridge park on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

I visit china!
It really a good place to visit, look, the building above is a standard style of chinese building, but it becomes litter and litter cause the large population, goverment need to build more high buildings to satisfy the need of the citizen, so I wish to visit it before it disappear.
2.Underwater World
The Underwater World, it is beautiful!
And there is a party here, i see many people dance here...
There are peoples come from different countries, and they are dance together , I am lucky , I heard a wonderful song here, and you can come there during different time , you can see different singers and hear different kinds of songs.

3.A strange place
I do not know what the place actually is.I just want to visit a museum and I come there, I didnot find anything about museum but I still feel I was very lucky. See! The followers are beautiful, isn't it? Maybe they are blue rose, and I am just very lucky cause I am lost , then I go to a strange place to see them.
I thought it is a museum at first, but it showed me nothing, only a stage here, and no one was playing there, when I went inside, there was a empty house , and still cannot got anything. But on the way I came back , I found this ! Another surprising!
I didnot know how to call it, different people would like to call it by a different name , and I remember I used to play it when I was a pupil, and I was only about 10 years old then, we called it "tai ping yang" , translate to english is "The Pacific Ocean". Maybe it means it is very difficult to complete the game cause "The Pacific Ocean" is very wide, and people is very hard to control it even the science and technology now is very development...
It is 23pm now , and I finally finish my blog, and from doing my blog, I have made a plan for my holiday already!
I wish my holiday will come faster as possible as it can!~

week 7 reflection
I think the stomp.com is ok for people who want to know the news about own country, but not enough for those who want to know more about the world.
And all the news on this website are most related on teenagers , and I think young people would like this website but adults maybe not like, so I think this website is good because it has its own theme, and it is aimed at young people.So young people can find news they want to know easier.
I think that it is not possible to consider all the people to create a website, after all , everyone has a different taste, but we can create a series of websites of different theme, some can only for young people ,some for women, and some for children. Maybe it is the best way to do a website to satisfied different kind of requirements.
When I create a topic on the stomp.com.I will use a eye-catching picture to attract the people, then use a keywords about my topic, so that the people can easily catch up what I will talk about.And If I will create my own version of“Stomp”in relation to my research topic (eg impact of global warming on wild life) , For apply Citizen Journalism , I will provide feedback place to all users, so that they can say something after they read the news. Readers can also show their own opinions about the impact.

week 6 reflection
Last week I learnt how to search the invisible web to find information I wanted. And I use these two website to do my search. (http://spark.tp.edu.sg/)&(http://library.books24x7.com/)
I found only two results based on my research topic by the first website, and the answers are not so closed to my research topic, but the databases come out are very detailed, it is not only tell me who is the author of the databases ,when it was published, and also tell me where is the Source come from, what is the Document Type and so on. And this thing ensures that the databases are actual.
And I can find some useful information for my topic by the second website, some of the information are related on environment, and global warming is a problem of environment. And the details of the databases are also given out.
In conclusion, the advantages of this kind of search is easy to use, easy to navigate around the source to locate information , user-friendly and intuitive, and availability of user support services. So I will use this kind of search facility help me find more useful information.
